Founders launching a course, cohort, membership or productized service to their list
Zach Spuckler says ChatGPT helped write 12+ emails for his Facebook Ads Summer Camp promo, plus ad copy and captions. The promo produced 354 waitlist signups, 56 sales and $19,658 in revenue over about three weeks. He notes it was a warm audience and ChatGPT was one part of the launch alongside ads, a waitlist and bonuses.
Email types Spuckler wrote with ChatGPT: objection-handling emails like 'I've tried ads before and they didn't work' and personal storytelling emails about his own ad journey. His process: 'start with a rough idea or voice memo and ask ChatGPT to expand or format it, then iterate until it matched my voice.' Emails were written by ChatGPT and edited by him.
I'm launching [offer] to my email list. Audience: [who]. They already know me from [existing product/content]. How this offer differs from [existing product]: [differences]. Price and deadlines: [details]. 1. Map a launch sequence of 10-14 emails: waitlist invites, cart open (by segment if relevant), 3 objection-handling emails, 2 story emails, and a close. One line per email: goal + subject line. 2. Wait for my approval. Then, for each email, I'll paste a voice-memo transcript. Expand it into the email: - Keep my stories and phrases. - Under 250 words. - One CTA. - Do not invent testimonials, numbers or results. Objections to cover: [e.g. 'I've tried this before and it didn't work', 'no time', 'too expensive'].
