Turn a sales call transcript into the follow-up email and CRM notes

Tools:
Claude (Sales plugin), Fireflies / Gong / Zoom transcripts
Who it's for

Founders who run their own sales calls and lose deals in the follow-up

What they report

No metric reported. Anthropic's Claude Sales plugin includes a /call-summary command that processes call notes or transcripts into structured summaries with action items and draft follow-ups. Anthropic says every command works standalone and does more when you connect your CRM, email and other tools.

Example

Illustrative output: a 120-word email that restates the buyer's two goals in their words, confirms the agreed next step with a date, and attaches the one resource they asked for.

How to do it

  1. Record every call with a notetaker.
  2. Run the call-summary command, or paste the transcript with the prompt below.
  3. Check every name, date, price and commitment against the transcript.
  4. Send the email the same day.
  5. Paste the internal summary into your CRM.

The prompt

Fill in the [brackets]
Copy prompt

Below is the transcript of my sales call with [name, role, company]. Use only what is explicitly said in the transcript. If something is unclear, list it under 'Unknowns' instead of guessing. 1. Extract: their goals (in their words), pains, objections, stakeholders mentioned, timeline, budget signals, and every next step anyone agreed to. 2. Draft a follow-up email from me, under 150 words: thank them in one line, restate their top 2 goals in their own language, confirm the agreed next step with a date, and include anything I promised to send. 3. Write a 5-bullet internal summary for my CRM. TRANSCRIPT: [paste]
