Founders who write in several formats and want one voice file that handles all of them
No metric reported. Shyam Ganapathy's open-source generator diffs your samples against a default-voice rewrite, separates habits from platform constraints, and outputs a write-like-you file with rules, traits and format-specific guidance. He says voice files decay and recommends re-running the capture every six months.
His sample rules: at least three formats (long-form, short-form, conversational), both warm and cold audiences, 2 or 3 pieces per format, long pieces of 300+ words, all from the last 12 months, and nothing edited by someone else. Redact names from cold outreach first.
I'm pasting writing samples in three groups: LONG-FORM (300+ words), SHORT-FORM (posts), and CONVERSATIONAL (DMs, emails, including cold outreach to strangers with names removed). All are from the last 12 months and none were edited by anyone else. 1. For each sample, rewrite one paragraph in default AI voice. List every difference between mine and the default. 2. Compare my long-form to my short-form. Separate habits that show up everywhere from things that are just platform limits. 3. Sort what survives into: INVARIANT RULES (always true), TRAITS (tendencies), and FORMAT-SPECIFIC GUIDANCE (long-form / short-form / cold outreach / warm messages). 4. Output it as a single file named write-like-[my name].md, with an instruction at the top to read it before writing anything as me. SAMPLES: [paste]
