Dump all your research into a Claude Project and question it while you write

What they report

No metric reported. Packy McCormick (Not Boring) called Claude Projects 'a revelation' for writing. He dumps company notes, analyst reports and blog posts into a project, then asks questions section by section while drafting.

Example

McCormick's questions: 'Here's the section that I'm writing. Is there any interesting data anywhere that I should be using that I haven't thought about using?' and 'If you're an LP looking at this, where are you poking holes in my thinking?'

How to do it

  1. Create a project for the piece.
  2. Upload everything: interview notes, reports, past posts, data.
  3. Write a section yourself.
  4. Paste the section and ask what data or quotes you missed.
  5. Ask a skeptical reader persona to poke holes.
  6. Decide what to add. Watch that the critique does not water down your argument.

The prompt

Fill in the [brackets]
Copy prompt

All my research for this piece is in the project files. Here is the section I'm writing now: [paste section] 1. Is there data, a quote, or an example anywhere in the files I should be using here and haven't? Cite the file it came from. 2. If you were [a skeptical customer / an investor / an expert in X] reading this section, where would you poke holes? List the top 3, most serious first. 3. Is any claim here not supported by the files? Quote it. Do not rewrite my section.
